Pre-care
It's very important both pre and post care instructions are closely followed for your specific service. This will help to eliminate any contraindications and healing issues to ensure you get the most out of your service.
It is very important that you are honest with us about other skincare products you are using, beauty treatments you are receiving or medical procedures you may be undergoing. A clients health & safety is most important, above any beauty service, so if contraindications exist we must be aware for safety purposes.
Brow Lamination + Lash Lift
2 wks before
If you've had recent injectables around the eyes or forehead, you must wait 2 weeks before lamination/lift to avoid any interference or irritation.
If you have had any kind of eye, eyelid or eyebrow surgery, facial threads you will need to wait a minimum of 6 weeks before lamination/lift can be done - no exceptions.
1 wk before
Avoid excessive sun exposure - Freshly tanned skin is more prone to irritation and sunburned skin can not be worked on. Wait until your skin has recovered before booking a lamination/lift.
72 hrs before
No Vitamin C, Vitamin A, AHAs, BHA's or harsh manual exfoliants - Avoid using products like retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or other chemical exfoliants near the brow area. These can increase skin sensitivity and cause irritation with lamination products during service leading to complications.
48 hrs before
No waxing, tweezing, threading or dermaplane in the area at least two days before service. This helps avoid sensitivity, redness, or damage to the skin barrier. A custom shape up is included in your lamination service.
Avoid Waterproof Mascara - waterproof formulas leave residue that can prevent proper lifting, even after removal.
Stop using lash serums (like Latisse or growth enhancers) 48 hours beforehand to avoid sensitivity & unexpected results.
Avoid heavy creams & oils around the eyes - Oil based products can leave a film on your lashes that prevents the lift from taking properly.
day of service
Arrive with clean skin/lashes - Make sure your brow/lash area is free of makeup, growth serums & oils. Clean skin/lashes ensures better adhesion and effectiveness of the lamination solution.
Remove contact lenses - Take out your lenses before the treatment, as your eyes will be closed for an extended time and solutions may cause discomfort if they seep in.
Avoid curling your lashes beforehand - Let your lashes be in their natural state. Previous curling can affect how evenly the lift works.
Avoid caffeine 2-4 hours before service - fluttering, watery eyes will cause us complication

Avoid tanning & excessive sun exposure - Freshly tanned skin & sunburned skin can not be worked on. Wait until your skin has fully recovered before booking a tattoo appointment.
No antibiotics or vaccines - we need our body in a healthy state to heal properly. If your immune system is compromised it could greatly effect your healed results & cause complications during service like excessive sensitivity, bleeding & unexpected color shifts in pigment.
** exception - clients prone to cold sores who are looking to receive Lip Blush or Lip Neutralization tattoo services should consult their doctor & take an antiviral medication 48-72 hours before and after service to hopefully eliminate an aggressive outbreak.
1 wk before
No Vitamin C, Vitamin A, AHAs, BHA's or harsh manual exfoliants - Avoid using products like retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or other chemical exfoliants near the area. These can increase skin sensitivity, irritation during service leading to complications.
Avoid natural blood thinners like fish oils(omega-3's), Vitamin E, ginseng, turmeric/curcumin, etc.. as well as OTC medications like aspirin & ibuprofen. If you have a prescribed medication check with your doctor first.
Lip Blush & Lip Neutralization clients need to maintain well moisturized lip tissue as hydrated skin better accepts the pigment being implanted.
48 hrs before
No waxing, tweezing, threading, dermaplane or shaving in the area at least two days before service. This helps avoid sensitivity, redness, or excessive damage to the skin barrier. The area will be properly prepped in studio during service.
24 hrs before
No alcohol - alcohol thins the blood, which can cause excessive bleeding during the tattoo service. This not only impacts how well the pigment will implant into the skin but the overall color/tone of the pigment once healed.
day of service
Avoid caffeine 6 -12 hours before service - Caffeine can make you jittery and raises our heart rate, which often makes the service more uncomfortable.
Do not working out -Avoid intense workouts 4 - 6 hours before your appointment. It increases heart rate & blood flow causing excessive bleeding and it dilates pores causing excessive sweating leading to irritation, rash & discomfort.
If you have a brow service i recommended removing contact lenses for comfort.
I recommend coming in freshly showered because you will not be able to get the area wet after.
Don’t arrive on an empty stomach, you will be here for a few hours. Eat a balanced meal 1–2 hours before your appointment to help maintain blood sugar and reduce the chance of lightheadedness & discomfort. You can bring a light, mess-free snack if you'd like.
