Aftercare

It's very important both pre and post care instructions are closely followed for your specific service. This will help to eliminate any  contraindications and healing issues to ensure you get the most out of your service.

It is very important that you are honest with us about other skincare products you are using, beauty treatments you are receiving or medical procedures you may be undergoing.  A clients health & safety is most important, above any beauty service, so if contraindications exist we must be aware for safety purposes.

Brow Laminations + Lash Lifts

24-48 hrs after

Your brows/lashes need time to set - 24-48 hours. Do your best to avoid getting them wet or sweaty in any way.

Avoid rubbing them, leaning on them or bending them in any other way or they may set like that.

Avoid steamy showers, hot tubs & leaning over steamy pots on the stove.

Avoid sweaty workouts and heated workout rooms.

No saunas, swimming or plunges.

No brow/lash makeup or harsh products during this time.

Avoid direct & long sun exposure.

ongoing care

Avoid long periods in salt water & chlorine, it's more drying.  Condition your brows/lashes after doing so.

Always comb your brows up after getting them wet, they dry however they are positioned in the moment regardless of the lamination.

Condition brows/lashes frequently (3-4x weekly) to maintain health & hydration. For the lashes i recommend an actual brow/lash serum, for the brows you can use a conditioning hair treatment like k-18, olaplex, or similar nourishing product.

Do not use waterproof makeup or alcohol based products directly on the brows/lashes.

Extra friction can be damaging so try not to sleep face first on your brows/lashes.

Cosmetic Tattoo - Brows

Nano - Nano Combo - Powder

immediately after

Your brows will feel tender and look bolder than anticipated. There may be some redness, stinging, swelling, slight burning or itchy feeling - this is normal and can take a few hours to subside. Make sure your hands, glasses, hats and anything possibly touching the area are wiped clean of bacteria.

day of service

On your car ride home, gently blot your brows with a dry cotton round to absorb any lymph or oil that may have surfaced. Continue blotting periodically throughout the day. Wash your brows 2 hours post service and again before bed with the foam cleanser given to you.

To wash: Use 1/2 pump of cleanser on your fingertips, gently wiping the brows in an outward direction to dissolve any fluids that may have dried on - no scrubbing, no circles - be gentle. Carefully pat the area dry and let them be.

day 2-14

Gently wash your brows morning & night then carefully pat them dry. If you have a normal to dry skin type you will apply a rice grain amount of healing balm to them morning & night daily. If you have an oily t-zone or oily skin type only use the healing balm if the brow area is feeling overly dry/itchy - but be very sparing with it, only use a small rice grain amount split between the brows - less is more in this case.

very important

Avoid getting your brows overly wet in the shower.

Avoid all standing water like pools, hot tubs, lakes and oceans as well as moist, steamy & humid environments.

If your brows feel super itchy you may reapply a thin, rice grain amount of balm to the area but remember less is more with that. It is essential that you resist the urge to touch, pick or scratch at the area - this can cause pigment loss and possible scaring. You want your flakes to fall off naturally. Once all flakes have fallen you can discontinue aftercare routine and resume your regular routines and activities.

Important
Reminders

Change your pillowcases & sheets before going to bed and keep them clean for the duration of your healing process. Try to avoid side sleeping and smooshing your face into the pillow - you don’t want your new brows rubbing on the pillow too much. This could prematurely pull off any scabs and result in pigment loss. Back sleeping is recommended. Makeup can not be worn on the brows for 14 days. If you choose to wear foundation and/or eye makeup completely avoid the brow area. Makeup is full of varying ingredients and bacteria that could cause an infection. It is best to cleanse your brows outside of the shower, but if done during, please only wash them at the very end. Avoid excessive rinsing and do not let the rushing water from the shower head run over the brow area. Use only your finger tips to quickly rinse the brows then pat them dry. Avoid long, hot, steamy showers for the full 14 days. Soggy brows will take longer to heal. Try your best to keep your brows/face out of the water while washing your body and your hair. Avoid hot, sweaty exercise for at least 7 days. If scabs/flakes are still present its truly best to wait until they have fallen off. Again, soggy brows will take longer to heal and the salts in our sweat can alter the pigment color. Avoid swimming pools, lakes/oceans, hot tubs, sauna and steam rooms for the full 14 days. Let any scabbing, flakes and dry skin naturally fall off. Picking can cause scarring & loss of pigment. Only the soap & healing balm provided should be used on the brows throughout the healing process. NO facials, botox, chemical peels, microdermabrasion for a minimum of 4 weeks Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for a minimum 4 weeks post procedure. Wear a hat when outdoors. One of the best things you can do for the longevity of your brows is to wear sunscreen on them daily ONCE THEY ARE HEALED. Mineral SPF is best. This will help the tattoo stay true to color, crisp and vibrant. Protect your investment!

Cosmetic Tattoo - Lips

Lip Blush - Lip Neutralization

immediately after

Your lips will feel tender and look bolder than anticipated. There will likely be some redness, swelling, stinging, slight burning or itchy feeling - this is normal and can take a few hours to subside. Make sure your hands, drinking cups and anything possibly touching your lips are wiped clean of bacteria.

day of service

On your car ride home, gently blot your lips with a dry cotton round to absorb any lymph or oil that may have surfaced. Wash your lips 2 hours post service, each time after you’ve eaten and again before bed with the foam cleanser given to you. Avoid foods that are spicy, oily, vinegar based and messy items that you have to bite into - eat items that can be carefully placed into the mouth. You must keep the lips as clean and untouched as possible.

To wash: Use 1/2 pump of cleanser on your fingertips, gently wiping the lips in an outward direction to dissolve any fluids that may have dried on - no scrubbing, no circles - be gentle. Carefully pat the area dry then apply a small amount of healing balm.

day 2-14

Gently wash your lips morning & night, and after each time you eat, carefully patting them dry after and gently apply healing balm with your fingertip (cotton fibers from q-tips may get caught in your flakes). Continue to avoid messy food items, and keep the lips clean and hydrated at all times. You do not want them to get overly dried out. They will get chapped/flakey looking though, this is normal.

very important

Avoid moist, steamy & humid environments like saunas, steam rooms & hot tubs as well as standing water like pools & ocean swimming.

Avoid getting sweat on the area - this could alter pigment color and cause infection.

If your lips look dry reapply a thin, rice grain amount of balm to the area. It is essential that you resist the urge to touch, pick or scratch at the area - this can cause pigment loss and possible scaring. You want your flakes to fall off naturally. Once all flakes have fallen you can discontinue the aftercare routine and resume your regular routines and activities, but do continue to keep them hydrated.

Important
Reminders

Keep kissing to a minimum. Saliva carries a lot of bacteria in it which could lead to infection causing complications during healing.
