Welcome — I'm Tabetha, owner and artist behind Power of Pigment.

My path here wasn't a straight line, but every step of it shaped the artist I've become. I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I first discovered two things about myself that would later define my career: a deep love for helping people, and an artistic eye for creating beauty. At the time, I didn't know exactly what to do with either — I just knew they were part of who I was.

In 2015, I made the move to San Diego, a city that quickly became home. A few years later, in 2018, I found the perfect intersection of my two passions in permanent makeup and paramedical tattooing. It wasn't long before I knew I'd found my calling.

Today, I'm a dual-licensed esthetician and tattoo artist in the state of California, with advanced certifications in both cosmetic and paramedical tattoo work. But the credentials only tell part of the story. What I value most is what happens in the room with each client — really listening, understanding what they're hoping to feel when they look in the mirror, and translating that into something precise, beautiful, and uniquely theirs.

Every client who sits in my chair brings a different story: a busy mom who wants her mornings simplified, a woman ready to feel whole again after surgery, someone who just wants to feel confident walking into a room. My job is to listen closely enough to know exactly what they need, then use everything I've learned — through training, experience, and the relationships I've built along the way — to help get them there.

Power of Pigment was built on that belief: that artistry and care, done well, can change how someone feels in their own skin.
