Pre-care

It's very important both pre and post care instructions are closely followed for your specific service. This will help to eliminate any  contraindications and healing issues to ensure you get the most out of your service.

It is very important that you are honest with us about other skincare products you are using, beauty treatments you are receiving or medical procedures you may be undergoing.  A clients health & safety is most important, above any beauty service, so if contraindications exist we must be aware for safety purposes.

Brow Laminations + Lash Lifts

2 weeks before

If you've had recent injectables around the eyes or forehead, you must wait 2 weeks before lamination/lift to avoid any interference or irritation.

If you have had any kind of eye, eyelid or eyebrow surgery, facial threads you will need to wait a minimum of 6 weeks before lamination/lift can be done - no exceptions.

1 week before

Avoid Sunburn or Tanning - Freshly tanned skin is more prone to irritation and sunburned skin can not be worked on.  Wait until your skin has recovered before booking a lamination/lift.

72 hours before

No Vitamin C, Vitamin A, AHAs, BHA's or harsh manual exfoliants - Avoid using products like retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or other chemical exfoliants near the brow area. These can increase skin sensitivity, irritation & skin grazing during service leading to complications.

48 hours before

No waxing, tweezing, threading or dermaplane in the area at least two days before  service. This helps avoid sensitivity, redness, or damage to the skin barrier. A custom shape up is included in your lamination service.

Avoid Waterproof Mascara - Waterproof formulas leave residue that can prevent proper lifting, even after removal.

Stop using lash serums (like Latisse or growth enhancers) 48 hours beforehand to avoid sensitivity & unexpected results.

Avoid heavy creams & Oils around the eyes - Oil-based products can leave a film on your lashes that prevents the lift from taking properly.

Day of

Arrive with clean skin/lashes - Make sure your brow/lash area is free of makeup, growth serums & oils. Clean skin/lashes ensures better adhesion and effectiveness of the lamination solution.

Remove contact lenses - Take out your lenses before the treatment, as your eyes will be closed for an extended time and solutions may cause discomfort if they seep in.

Avoid curling your lashes beforehand - Let your lashes be in their natural state. Previous curling can affect how evenly the lift works.

Avoid caffeine 2-4 hours before service - fluttering, watery eyes will cause us complications.
